Viewing Page (Saturday Only)

This page is exclusively for those who have registered for the Dharma Celebration. If you have not booked, please register here.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO VIEW A SESSION

Links to sessions become live at the scheduled time (note this is in current EDT time) – you cannot watch a video before its scheduled time – but you can watch it after.

You can play the video by clicking on the orange link within the festival schedule. When you click the orange link, the video player will replace the photo of Kadam Morten. Please scroll up from the schedule and click the play button on the video to start.

Use the schedule below the photo of Kadam Morten to access the links for each session. Please refresh your browser after the start time and the session text will turn orange, indicating the session is available to view.

If you clicked on the session before the scheduled time, no video will appear. You will need to refresh your browser at/after the scheduled start time for the link to appear for that session.

PLEASE NOTE: The Amitayus empowerment will only be viewable on Saturday, September 11 from 11:00am-1:00pm. It will not be viewable after this time. If you miss the empowerment at this time, you will not have another chance to view it. There are NO REPLAYS of the Amitayus empowerment.

All other sessions, including the introduction, teachings, meditations, and Wishfulfilling Jewel prayers will be available to view until Sunday, September 19 at 11:59pm.

CONNECTING TO THE CELEBRATION

We hope that your online Dharma Celebration experience will be smooth, however, we recognize that sometimes you may experience some problems. This troubleshooting guide offers help for some of the most common issues.

The main factors to focus on are your browser, your network, and your device.

Browser Try a different browser if you can’t view the video. The video player is compatible with all major browsers, however certain playback issues may be specific to one browser or another. Switching browsers may help clear up an issue, or at least give you a sense for whether a certain problem is caused by something else. For example, if you’re using Firefox and your video doesn’t play, you should try Chrome/Safari. Now the video plays, then you have solved the issue.

Multitasking Close additional browser windows. Avoid simultaneously running programs that use a lot of energy, like Spotify, Netflix, and others.

Bypass browser setting and plugins Watch from a private window in order to eliminate browser settings and customizations that can cause conflict

  • Chrome > File > New Incognito Window > Paste festival website link and press enter
  • Firefox > File > New Private Window > Paste festival website link and press enter
  • Safari > File > New Private Window > Paste festival website link and press enter

Clear your browser cache – doing so regularly helps all applications run better

  • Chrome: Close all windows then click Chrome (top navigation, left of File) > Clear Browsing Data or go to the three-dot menu at the upper-right of Chrome to select Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data or History > History > Clear browsing data
  • Firefox: Close all windows then from the top navigation select History > Clear Recent History
  • Safari: Close all windows then click from top navigation Safari > Clear History

Computer re-start Restart your computer. Once it’s running again, open a browser to see if this resolved the issue. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet.

Router This is only needed if you are not getting an internet connection to your device. Test by using a google search in any browser. If an error appears on your screen then it is time to reboot your router.
