Parking and Transportation
There is limited parking at KMC NY
Therefore we ask that everyone carpool as much as possible. To park onsite, you will need to have registered for a parking pass in advance, which can be done online when you register for the event. If you missed this, please fill out the Contact Form to add parking to your registration.
Accessibility
Handicap parking passes are available if you hold a valid handicap permit. Please select the handicap permit option when you register.
Please note that there are no hotel shuttles for this event. You may wish to arrange a car pool with others attending the NEDC or book a taxi.

Transportation from the KMC New York City Temple Opening
A bus service is available for those people wishing to attend the Temple Opening in New York City on Friday, September 28.
Click here for more information about this event. $25 one way (NYC to Glen Spey) or $35 both ways (Glen Spey/NYC return) for those people arriving early to the NEDC to help setup. The bus must be pre-registered. Register by September 14.
Children
Children are welcome at the NEDC,
but must be with a responsible adult at all times.
All children, even infants, must be registered.
Please register each child individually.

During Teachings
There will be audio provided in the World Peace Café at the back of the Temple for parents with children. Due to the proximity to the Temple, children will be asked to keep noise to a minimum in this area.
In the Temple
Children may attend the empowerment and teachings if they can remain still and very quiet so as not to distract others. Please do not bring babies or young children into the meditations. Children who disrupt others will not be allowed to remain in the Temple.
Children’s Activities
A program of children’s activities will be available outside the teaching session times. When you register on arrival, please feel free to visit the children’s area for more details of the children’s program.
Accommodations for Children
We regret that due to space limitations there are no on-site indoor accommodations available for children under the age of 16 at this event. Outdoor camping is available, provided a parent is camping too. Camping is $10 per night for children ages 4 to 15, and no charge for children 3 and under.
